Unsane Radio 0049 – Super Host Adieu

Your turgid hosts Dr. Tarr, Professor Fether, The Midnight Gadfly and Dr. Head sift their way through 1957 and 1958 in their journey through the history of science fiction in movies. There’s some great and not so great movies made in these two years, and the gang proceeds to talk about most of them. It’s excellent therapy, 1950’s style. RIP Super Host. He was one of the best.

Unsane Radio 0046 – Crappyright Hannumum Barberra

Your buoyant hosts Dr. Tarr, Professor Fether, The Midnight Gadfly and Dr. Head continue their journey through the history of science fiction in films with their take on the 1950s. Okay, they only make it through 1951. It’s a dense decade.

Unsane Radio 0045 – Head Cheese Whiz

Your acephalic hosts Dr. Tarr, Professor Fether, The Midnight Gadfly (or is that evening?) and Mark “Dr. Head” Justice take us on a particularly raunchy journey through the 1940s science fiction movies as part of their History of Science Fiction in films. They round out this session with a wild ride through what they have all been watching. It’s one of the more unsane therapy sessions. You don’t want to miss it.
Explicit content. Believe me.

Unsane Radio 0044 – Crop Circling the Drain

Your cultivated hosts (pop and unpop) Dr. Tarr, Professor Fether, The Midnight Gadfly and Dr. Head strap on their jet packs as they do an Unsane Radio Flyby into the History of Science Fiction in film. They start in the late 1800s and make it all the way through the 1930s. It’s a grand ride down the silver halide road of film history, and also one fine therapy session!

Unsane Radio 0043 – Nudetella, Would You Spread Me?

Your loquacious hosts Dr. Tarr, Professor Fether, The Midnight Gadfly and Mark Justice have a very lively discussion about the films of David Cronenberg. It’s creative cancer at it’s best.
Explicit content as usual.

Unsane Radio 0042 – Say It Like Don Pardo

Your hyperbolic hosts Dr. Tarr, Professor Fether, The Midnight Gadfly and Dr. Head (aka Mark Justice) start off with a discussion of A BOY AND HIS DOG (1975), the classic science fiction/post apoc film based on a novella by Harlan Ellison and directed by LQ Jones. They switch gears for their second movie by continuing with their near-obsessive attention to Nicolas Cage as they talk about his 2019 film KILL CHAIN, written and directed by Ken Sanzel. Everything is wrapped up with a blatant plug for Mark’s new book GAUGE BLACK: HELL’S REVENGE. It’s all a strange mix that contributes to an especially satisfying therapy session.

Unsane Radio 0041 – C.annibalistic H.umanoid U.terine D.wellers

My dog’s farts smell like Chef Boyardee’s pizza sauce, and they are just as phonetic! Your hosts Dr. Tarr, Professor Fether, The Midnight Gadfly and Mark Justice jump into the science fiction realm this time around with two movies. First up is ANNIHILATION (2018), followed by C.H.U.D. (1984). It’s definitely an episode that is prime therapy with a few laughs strewn along the winding — and sometimes bloody — path.

Unsane Radio 0040 – It’s A Succubus Chirren

This week’s asylum-cast Dr. Tarr, Professor Fether and The Midnight Gadfly finally wrap up the 1960s in their ongoing, although a bit sporadic, History of Horror in Films. They cover 1967 through 1969. They also manage a plug for their latest Psycho Cinema episode “QUEST FOR URANUS” a Cyclops Movies production. It was indeed a Night of the Lively Dead and one almost perfect therapy session.
Explicit Content as usual.
